Arts University Bournemouth is recruiting a dynamic and innovative Head of International Development to lead the University's activity and be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating international recruitment marketing strategies. The role will be instrumental in engaging with a wide range of key stakeholders to ensure that the University’s international targets are effectively delivered, and that recruitment activities are successfully coordinated, implemented, as well as aligned with the University strategy.
The post holder is responsible for leadership of the International Development team and managing resources effectively and efficiently with a view to maintaining a high level of quality in its service levels and provision. The post holder will work closely with colleagues within the Student Recruitment Directorate such as Marketing and Short Courses.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have a strong understanding of the key issues currently facing international student recruitment with proven experience in developing and successfully implementing international student recruitment marketing strategies. This will include commercial acumen demonstrated through experience in working in a target driven environment, stakeholder management skills and in being a highly proficient communicator. You will thrive on change and all its challenges. You will be able to provide leadership, team building and act as a role model in delivering a high-quality service, underpinned by excellent organisational and analytical skills and a student-centric approach.
You will ideally have experience of working in culturally diverse environment, the higher education sector and be willing to travel and be prepared to work unsociable hours from time to time.
