The post of Admissions Administrator is based with Registry, a central administrative department of AUB, providing support to the team with the recruitment of students to University courses. The successful candidate for this post will need to be an effective team player with strong administrative skills who enjoys working within a dynamic and fast moving section. Experience of using databases and effective IT skills are key, alongside organisations and problem solving skills.

You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Working as part of the Admissions team duties will include; dealing with day to day enquiries from all applicants via phone, email and face to face. You will also be expected to advise prospective applicants and their parents and carers at Open Days and similar events based at the AUB campus. For these events and at other key times during the Admissions cycle there will be the requirement to work some Saturdays for which you will be given time off in lieu.

The post also requires you to support the wider work of the Registry team which includes; enrolment, assessing fee status and ensuring the data held within our student records database is robust. Experience of working in a similar role in a university or college, or in a customer led environment would be an advantage. Candidates will need to have a Level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience.
